Today’s young generation has started the viral video.  The viral video will work for advertising your company’s website.  Not just the young see these viral videos.  The business world is using them to attract business to their products.  Use these to get traffic to your website.

What is a viral video?  It is a video that gains almost instant popularity on the internet.  They are shared through e-mail, IM’s and blogs.  People don’t just view these videos online.  They take them with by downloading them to their handheld devices and now even on cell phones.  They can be passed on for years to come.  But you want to get instant popularity to get the most traffic.  Then you want to keep up with the times and go with the flow of marketing your website to keep getting the traffic you want and need.

Word of mouth is the key to getting your video to become a viral video.  Put your video at video sites.  Do a search on the internet to see which sites are the most popular to use.  Use the free sites.  If you have the budget you can pay to have your video on a site.  Start out with the free sites.  If you need to attract the attention of the higher dollar users then you should consider going with a paid site.  

Send the video to family and friends.  Ask them to send the video to their family and friends.  This will keep going and going until your video is possibly sent to thousands of people.

Put your video on online communities such as blogs.  Blogs are very popular today. Bloggers come in all ages and demographics.  You will hit a wide variety of clientele by posting your video on a blog.  Make your own website blog with useful information.

By having and using a viral video you are getting in to the beginning of a new way to market and promote your business.  They are changing the way we do business.  Make sure you place your video in the right places so the right people will see your business.
